Father's Day

We spent Father's Day at The Nevada Railroad Museaum in Carson city.  We had a great time and Jackson was in heaven.
That is one big Choo-Choo.  Notice the Thomas train tables in the background...that's where we spent some of our day as well.

"Look Daddy"

He can't take his eyes off the trains.

Jackson and Mommy trying out train conducting.

I got a little nervous with his interest in the model trains.  I was picturing his future nerdom.

This picture looks so Abby Road.
Bye Jack

Catching a free ride.  "Hold on Jack."

My two favorite guys.  So cute!

The girls on the train.

Best Friends Forever!?!?

We decided to take some pictures of the two munchkins since they happened to be wearing similar, matchy pajamas.  Our own personal Monsters vs. Aliens.  We are sometimes a little hesitant to have Jackson hold her since he can be "rough" with her but he promised to be gentle...a word I have used more in the past 5 weeks then I have in my entire life!  Anyway, this is what happened:

"Cheese!"
"Adieeeee!"

Our little cutie patooties

Oh geez, he's going in for a bite......

...oh, thank goodness!

After the mini photo shoot, Jackson asked to play the game that Larry and him play with Addie sometimes.  Here is some shots of the silly babes but you have to imagine them running through the house!

"Hang on Addie."

Wingfield Park

We had a nice Sunday afternoon at the river today at Wingfield Park.  It was in the 80's but the water was really cold.  We were suprised that Jackson even went in the water let alone stand in it for a while.  He loved throwing rocks in and splashing with his feet.  Miss Addie slept the whole time in her stroller.  It was a little too hot for the moby wrap.  We would have both been miserable, sweaty pigs.
Jackson and Daddy testing the water.

"Come on Mama!"

Throwing pebbles into the river.  He was such a good boy and asked first before every throw. (He never does that at home.)

"Hi Mama!"

Trucks and Dirt

Welcome to Jackson's World:

"Me play dirt!"

Working hard to move that dirt.
 Imagine tractor noises.

So cute but with a little bit of mischief in his eyes!

Random Jackson Antics

The other day I experienced what it is like to be pulled two ways at the park.  I have Addie in the stroller and a little boy running down the hill to get to the "basketball, dunk it."  All I could do was stand between them and yell...and apparently take pictures!

My little good girl.

Zoomed out view of a little speck.
Zoomed in view of him running amuck.

That is one proud pirate.  The hat is from a book and he gets a sticker on his hat for every successful potty time.

Freckles

Jackson has recently started getting freckles on his nose and cheeks just like his Mommy and Daddy.

For some reason they are mostly on his left cheek.

Kite Festival 2010

Jack's first time flying a kite was at this year's Reno Kite Festival. The day was perfect, lots of sun and wind. Jack had an awesome new spiderman kite, and took to flying it like a pro. Now, whenever there's a slight breeze, we're out trying to get a kite up in the air.

Showing Jack 'the ropes.'

 Letting out some string

'Me do it."

"Hey this is pretty fun"

Checking out the competition (mainly a giant tinkerbell kite with wings).

The Man

And no day would be complete without stopping to see the...Fire-TRUCK, Fire-TRUCK, ALLLL RIGHT, Fire-TRUCK!!! (You have to imagine Jack emphatically singing that little song over and over everyday).
